Personalized bedtime stories, week after week.
You send the theme — pirates, starting school, the dentist. We turn it into personalized stories, starring a friend who's a lot like them.

See what a personalized story actually looks like
A real bedtime story created for a subscriber — from a simple note about what's happening in their child's life.
Odie starts pre-K in two weeks. We went to the open house last Thursday to see the room and meet his teacher, and he found the cubby with his name on it and stood in front of it for ages. He wanted to put something in it right then and was upset when I said we had to leave it empty until the first day. He's asked me every single morning since whether the cubby is still there.

The Little Door With Odie's Letter · page 1 of 6
Odie counted his steps to the park. "Twenty-one. Twenty-two. Twenty-three." Sock's blue head poked out of his pocket, listening.
At step forty-eight, Odie stopped. There was a birch tree beside the path. And low on the birch tree, no taller than his knee, was a little brass door.
Above the door, cut into the bark, was the shape of an O.
"That's my letter," said Odie. "That's my O."

Why Weeloom Tales
What makes us different
Personalized bedtime stories for kids that follow where your child actually is — with the same friend, week after week.
A friend they pick, who stays the same
Not a generic character on a generic quest. Your child picks their friend once, and that friend stays recognizably themselves across every story and every illustration — same face and same small habits, week after week.
You set the direction, every week
Other bedtime story apps for kids make you invent a fresh theme from scratch each time. Here you send a few lines each week — the real stuff, or something you made up, your call — and the week's stories grow out of it.
Written for bedtime, checked before it's written
Every story passes strict content rules before generation begins: no violence, no scary turns, no profanity. Just age-appropriate bedtime stories for kids, built around a real lesson.
How it works
Three steps, then you're done
Send a theme, or tell us how their week actually went. We write personalized bedtime stories and send them back, illustrated.
- Step 1
Pick their friend
Create a character your child will recognize and love. Their friend keeps the same face, personality, and little habits in every story.
- Step 2
Tell us about their week
Send one short note about what's happening in their world. It can take 30 seconds.
- Step 3
Get new stories all week
We turn your note into new illustrated bedtime stories starring their friend.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Anything else, and we're a message away.
Are these personalized bedtime stories?
Yes, but not the way most personalized children's books work. We don't put your child's name on the hero. You and your child pick a friend instead — a character who is like them and gets them — and that friend is who the stories follow. The stories are shaped by what you send us each week. You can shape the week based on experience, a feeling, or some other event that your child can see themselves in.
What makes this different from other bedtime stories for kids?
Most story apps hand you a library, or ask you to invent a fresh prompt every time. Here the same friend comes back week after week, and what you tell us shapes where that friend goes next in the bedtime stories.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. On a monthly plan, cancel whenever you like and you won't be billed again — you keep access through the end of the month you've paid for.
Do you need a photo of my child?
No, never — and we don't need their name either. You describe a friend: a name for them, an age band, and what they're like. That's all we use. The illustrations are generated from your description, not from any image of your child.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can design their friend and start your free trial without entering any payment details. When the 14-day trial ends, you'll be asked whether you'd like to continue — that's the point where you'd add a card. If you don't, nothing happens and you're not charged.
Are the stories written by AI?
Yes. Every story is generated, illustrated, and — on the Full Loom plan — narrated using AI, working from the character you created and the note you sent. Every one passes content rules before it's written: no violence, no frightening turns, no profanity.
What if I forget to send my weekly note?
We'll remind you. If the week gets away from you, you can send it late and the stories start from there — nothing is lost.
Do I need to write something every day?
No — one short note per friend, once every seven days. That single note becomes the whole week's stories, delivered a night at a time. Two kids means two notes, since they didn't have the same week.
What age range is this good for?
Stories are written to an age band you choose — from toddlers just starting to sit through a story, up through middle grade and teens. Sentence length, vocabulary, and story length all shift with the band, and you can change it as your child grows.
Can I read the stories more than once?
Yes — during your subscription plan, everything stays in your library. Most families end up with favorites they come back to.
